Circa Contemporary Circus

When we move, we never move alone.

Bounce by Circa is a giant inflatable castle that's also a circus tent.

When one of the world’s most important performing arts companies teams up with a globally renowned architect, the result is paradise, built from the air.

From the moment the small audience approaches and its members put on their earphones, they are transported to a fully immersive world. Upon entering the tent, they become part of a moving, transformative experience: the ceilings and floors rise and fall, acrobats jump and spin and –of course– they all bounce.

Directed by circus visionary Yaron Lifschitz, Circa has spent two decades redefining the limits of the possible in circus. Bounce by Circa, whose worldwide premiere will be in Madrid, is his most ambitious project to date: a thrilling mix of extreme skill and daring design.

Bounce by Circa's tent was commissioned from AL_A architects (United Kingdom). Amanda Levete CBE and her team have envisioned a luminous structure: the exterior is an eye-catching constellation of chrome bubbles while the interior holds a world of wonders and delights.
